This weekend the “Anderson Live” staff loaded turkeys with volunteers from the College of Staten Island at “All Hands Volunteers” on Staten Island — in an effort to help with Hurricane Sandy relief. In the photo above, MaryBeth Melendez (a graduate student from the College of Staten Island, a Hurricane Sandy relief volunteer, and blind woman featured on our Hurricane Sandy Special) stands with College of Staten Island volunteers and “Anderson Live” staffers together at All Hands — ready to deliver turkeys.

A special thanks to All Hands Volunteers —  a volunteer-driven, US-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides hands-on assistance to survivors of natural disasters around the world.
