Day 3: Terence Finishes His Cleanse

I can’t believe it, but… I did it! I survived my three-day cleanse, and I am really feeling good. I was very worried I would not make it the full three days.

Yesterday was Day 3, and I started again with a grapefruit mint drink. For lunch, I had the butternut squash soup, which is so good. I had a berry carrot juice at 3 p.m. and then my ginger bar around 5 p.m. when I was feeling hungry. I ended my cleanse at 7 p.m. with a bean burger with ginger sauce.

I have to say this was the best cleanse I have ever done. I was not starving, and I really feel like I jump-started my body to eating healthier. What I was most proud of was no sugar for three days, which for me is amazing. Now I just need to stay away from the candy and treats, and focus on healthier foods. Matthew and Nico were very proud of me!

When Snooki confessed this week on “Anderson Live” that zombies are among her biggest fears, we couldn’t resist zombifying her and JWoww. They loved the results. JWoww said, “We look hot!” and Snooki agreed, saying, “I enjoy it.”

Day 2 of Terence's Cleanse

Day 2 is down and I have to say I am really feeling good. Yesterday, I started with a grapefruit mint drink again at 9 a.m., and then simple hummus and veggies at noon. At 3 p.m., I had some berry carrot juice, and then at 7 p.m. lentils and spinach.

I was a little hungrier yesterday, so I had a ginger bar at some point in the afternoon. I had some hunger pangs last night, but it really wasn’t bad at all. I have to tell you, it feels great to be detoxing my body. Also, I feel like I have more energy without all the sugar.

Still one day left, so I will update you tomorrow on how Day 3 went!

Day 1 of Terence's Happy Cleanse

Our Executive Producer Terence is on a three-day cleanse… and it’s going really well! He wanted to share his experience in case you were curious about trying one yourself.

Day 1

Yesterday, I started the Bliss Spa 3-Day Happy Cleanse. I love a cleanse because it helps to detox your body and and give you a jump-start on eating healthy. What I especially like about this cleanse is that you get some solid food, not just liquids.

I started the morning with a grapefruit mint juice, then had butternut squash soup for lunch. At 3 p.m., I had a berry carrot juice and then for dinner quinoa tabouli and falafel. Finally, I had one treat, a ginger bar… which I LOVED!

Overall, this 3-Day Happy Cleanse is much easier for me to handle than a no-food cleanse, so I am on day two and feeling good! I did drink lots of water, which helped. It was tough to have dinner with my nieces and watch them eat grilled cheese sandwich and fries, but once I made it through that, I was okay!
