Meet “Anderson Live” staffer Amy, who is the assistant to the Executive in Charge of Production.
1. What do you do at “Anderson Live”?
I am the assistant to the Executive in Charge of Production. I deal a lot with production management, such as updating our internal systems with show information, filing guest releases, and helping relay information to production. Recently, I have been helping out in the control room, which has given me a great opportunity to see another side of production and be up close and personal with the action!
2. What has been your favorite “Anderson Live” Season 2 moment?
My favorite moment so far was when we had Ben Affleck and the cast of “Argo” on the show. They are all very talented actors and seeing their interview made me that much more excited to see the film.
3. What was the last movie you saw?
“Silver Linings Playbook.” Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence did an amazing job. I also really enjoyed Robert DeNiro in the film. They complemented each other well and were all just the right amount of nutty!
4. What was the last song to get stuck in your head?
Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven.” I’ve recently been getting into his music and that one song keeps playing over and over in my head.
5. Three people, one dinner: who do you invite?
Joan Rivers, Ryan Gosling, and Of Monsters and Men (technically a few people since they’re a band, but I’m counting them as one). Of Monsters and Men would be playing in the background and providing music for the dinner, while Ryan serves as great eye candy, and Joan Rivers as the entertainment. I met her once in real life and she is hilarious!
6. If you could take Anderson to any spot in NYC, where would it be and why?
Pomme Frites, Belgian French Fries and two-dozen dipping sauces to choose from… need I say more?
7. What book are you currently reading?
“The Perks of Being a Wall Flower.” I read it years ago, but since the movie was released this year I thought I would re-read it for old time’s sake.
8. What are three items you can’t live without?
A keepsake necklace my grandmother gave me, my iPhone, and a really comfy pillow.
9. What was the last concert you went to?
Governor’s Ball Music Festival on Randall’s Island over the summer. I had an amazing time! It was a day-long concert with great bands, delicious food trucks, and good friends.
10. Do you have a favorite money-saving tip?
Make a list! I find that if I write out everything I need then it helps cut back on impulse purchases.
